Pelvic Physio

ACC is now covering injuries that occur during childbirth. We are able to assess, diagnose and apply for funding/ cover for these injuries. Unfortunately, an emergency cesarean is not covered by ACC as an accident.

Cost = $60

These are hour-ish appointments, designed to help you feel in control of your pelvic health. We will assess, diagnose and treat the cause of your symptoms to the best of our ability, explaining everything as we go. Exercises and lifestyle modification advice is emailed to you after you appointment as we understand that these can be slightly overwhelming.

Cost = $135

There are multiple ways to get access to pelvic physio and help paying for your appointment.

Epic Physio is a Southern Cross Easy Claims Provider. This means that we can submit the claim on your behalf at the time of your appointment.

Other insurance companies may also cover your appointment, depending on your policy.

WINZ- Application to WINZ for a disability allowance (if we need to treat for 6 months or more), or for a special needs grant may help pay for your appointment. Your Physiotherapist or your GP can provide a letter of recommendation to help with your application. You can find the details and application here:
